Overview: In this module, you will learn foundational skills that help you navigate everyday situations, stresses, and interactions.

Delivery Mode: A mix between On-campus (in a university career center of your choice), and Online/Recorded Courses

Module I benefits: Anyone who seeks upskilling towards career building and/or advancement.

Module Pre-requisites: None.

Module Duration: 50 hrs/week. It covers three sets of skills:

 

A.Personal Skills

  • The Personal Skills Track is where your Be Ready journey begins. Focused on building intrapersonal skills, this offline, hands-on module is designed to help you build a strong internal foundation by improving how you understand and manage yourself. Through guided reflection, interactive sessions, and team-based activities, you’ll learn how to manage stress, regulate emotions, and set meaningful goals that align with your values.
  • This highly interactive module takes place in a classroom setting, giving you the chance to grow alongside peers while applying what you learn in real time.

  • Stress Management
  • Resilience and Adaptability
  • Emotional Intelligence

What You’ll Learn:

In this level, over 2 interactive sessions, you will learn the fundamentals of:

  • Understand emotional intelligence.
  • Recognize stress triggers.
  • Practice coping techniques.
  • Show adaptability in group tasks.
  • Draft a personal resilience plan.

How It Works:

  • Duration: 12 Hrs. (2 Offline Days/ 6 Hrs. each)
  • Format: In-person (offline), delivered at university career centers

B.Life Skills

The Life Skills Track helps you know how to communicate clearly and work well with others is essential. This helps you build the skills needed to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and resolve conflicts professionally. These interpersonal skills are at the heart of career success, especially in team-based and high-pressure environments.

Delivered in a dynamic classroom setting, this offline module takes what you learned about yourself in the first track and applies it to how you connect and work with others. You’ll participate in group exercises, discussions, and roleplays to build the emotional and social intelligence employers expect from high-potential candidates.

  • Effective Communication in The Workplace
  • Conflict Management Tools
  • Teamwork and Effective Collaboration

What You’ll Learn:

In this level, over 2 interactive sessions, you will learn the fundamentals of:

  • Explain the key elements of effective communication, common conflict styles, and the principles of successful teamwork in an academic or project-based setting
  • Identify their own communication style and typical conflict response using a structured self-assessment
  • Demonstrate active listening, assertiveness, and respectful disagreement during a team challenge or discussion scenario
  • Apply a simple conflict resolution framework (e.g., “I” statements, interest-based negotiation) in a simulated conflict situation within a team
  • Collaborate with a team to complete a timed group challenge, showcasing clear communication, role distribution, and mutual support

  • Format: In-person (offline), delivered at university career centers

C. Future Skills

The Future Skills Track  is a four-part series that equips students with practical skills in money management, personal goal setting, and informed life choices. It covers budgeting, saving and investing, life planning, and reproductive health to help students build a confident and responsible path toward their future. Also, sessions cover life planning and relationships, helping students clarify their values, set long-term goals, and understand how relationships impact their future, family planning, and health awareness. Together, these sessions prepare students to take control of their futures with confidence and clarity

  • Personal budget
  • Setting short-term financial goals Plan
  • Saving tools and basic investment concepts
  • Core values and personal and professional goals
  • Healthy communication and boundary setting in relationships
  • Family planning options and timing considerations

What You’ll Learn:

In this level, over 2 interactive sessions, you will learn the fundamentals of:

  • Understand the basics of budgeting and responsible money management.
  • Learn foundational concepts in saving, investing, and managing debt.
  • Explore values, relationship goals, and long-term life planning considerations.
  • Articulate personal priorities related to family, career, and lifestyle.
  • Identify the different parenting styles in the Arab world.

How It Works:

  • Duration: 12 Hrs. + 2 hours workload
  • Format: A mix between Offline Sessions  and Online Sessions

D. Career Readiness

You’ve worked hard on your degree — now it’s time to learn how to present yourself, your skills, and your story in a way that employers will notice. This track is all about helping you prepare for the real-world job market with clarity, confidence, and a clear plan.

In this hands-on, in-person track, you’ll build a professional CV from scratch, learn how to ace interviews, create a strong LinkedIn profile, and understand what employers are really looking for. You’ll also explore how to define your personal brand — and how to use it to position yourself as a valuable, hire-ready candidate.

This module is more than career tips — it’s a practical, guided experience where you’ll actually build the tools you need to get started, get seen, and get hired.

  • Define and communicate personal brand.

How It Works:

  • Duration: 10 Hrs. + 4 hours workload
  • Format: Hybrid By Career Centers (Self-Based learning through recorded courses).
