FULLY-FUNDED INITIATIVE

About Be Ready
A National Vision for a Future-Ready Generation

BeReady, launched in April 2023 under Egypt’s National Strategy for Higher Education 2030, is a fully-funded initiative led by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Developed in collaboration with universities and global partners, it supports the Presidential Initiative “Alliance and Development” by tackling youth unemployment, skills gaps, and institutional coordination.

Now operating as “Be Ready: One Million Qualified Innovators,” the program targets 40 universities and aims to empower one million youth over three years through integrated training in vocational, digital, entrepreneurial, language, and innovation skills.

Its core mission: to build a generation of qualified innovators equipped with interpersonal, intrapersonal, and technical competencies to thrive in a changing global job market.

The Challenge We’re Solving

Every year, thousands of students graduate with degrees but struggle to find jobs that match their potential. Meanwhile, employers increasingly value interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, digital fluency, and adaptability — areas that traditional education often overlooks.

Be Ready directly addresses this gap by offering soft skills development, hands-on coaching, and exposure to what employers actually expect. This isn’t just about learning — it’s about becoming employable.

OUR APPROACH

BeReady adopts a tracks-based learning model designed to offer flexible, goal-driven training experiences. Each participant selects a learning journey aligned with their personal ambitions and career goals.

This approach ensures that every learner receives relevant, focused training that bridges education and employment, empowering them to thrive in today’s dynamic job market with confidence and purpose

Our goals

  • Improve employability through technical, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skill-building
  • Reduce youth unemployment and illegal migration
  • Integrate international students into the Egyptian labor market
  • Build human capital aligned with the knowledge economy

1Fill in the existing professional gaps for future generations

2Empower the workplace with better talent

3Ease the job-hunt for job seekers
