What Are Young People Telling Us About Work and the Future? New Insights Supporting the “Be Ready” Initiative

How do today’s young people think about their careers? This is a question we always ask in the “Be Ready” initiative.

Deloitte’s 2025 Global Gen Z and Millennial Survey reveals that young people around the world are highly aware of the challenges ahead. Nearly half of those surveyed are concerned about how AI might impact their jobs, recognizing the urgent need to develop new skills to stay competitive.

More than 80% see continuous learning as essential for securing their future careers. At the same time, they place high value on work-life balance, mental health, and doing meaningful work that aligns with their values.

These insights inspire us at “Be Ready” to offer training that goes beyond technical skills. We focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and building personal confidence and adaptability.
